Vonk two-day conference focuses on IC as a compass in turbulent times
Organisations today face turbulence on many fronts—complex environments, rapid change, and growing uncertainty. In such conditions, internal communication is more than just an information channel: it becomes a strategic compass. It provides clarity when directions are blurred, builds trust when confidence is shaken, and fosters connection when people risk drifting apart.
Belgian association vonk’s upcoming conference in Leuven, Belgium (October 15–16) is open to FEIEA members and is dedicated to exploring this vital role of internal communication.
Experts, leaders, and practitioners will share insights on how communication can strengthen organisational resilience, support leadership, and create healthier, future-oriented workplaces.
- October 15 – English-language programme: A focus on how leadership, culture, and internal communication join forces in turbulent times. Highlights include international keynote speakers Fons Trompenaars and Michael Gerharz, an executive panel with leaders from diverse sectors, and the latest results from the Belgian Moodmeter and IOIC research.
- October 16 – Dutch-language programme: Practical frameworks, interactive breakout sessions, and case studies from Q8, TriFinance, DHL, and Mathieu Gijbels will demonstrate how communication can guide organisations through crises, change, and new opportunities. The day closes with a forward-looking expert panel.
